I was born and raised in a small mining town in County Durham, North East England called Tow Law. I'm not quite a real geordie but close enough to say such things like "It's ower wet te clag" meaning it's too wet to stick and "ya canne wack a cuppa scad." which translates to "You can't beat a good cup of tea."
I stumbled into the wonderful world of the arts quite young through a youth theatre ran by local theatre company Jack Drum Arts. (https://www.jackdrum.co.uk)
Being in this youth theatre was the highlight of my week. It was in this time I began to develop my clown and physical theatre skills as well as theatre and music.
My passions within the arts lie in story telling and the ability to send an audience on a journey, to encapsulate them within a different world than their own and to make audiences think and feel. I also believe the arts is an extraordinary tool that can be used to enhance and develop anyone's life.
I'm currently studying Contemporary Circus and Physical Theatre at Bristol circus school Circomedia. I specialise in acrobatics, solo as well as duo.
At Circomedia I'm developing my artistic signature everyday in all aspects of performance, and that is reaaaaly exciting! Watch this space!
As well as school I invest my time in sewing, dancing, projects and events, check out my future projects section!
